Blog Concepts

Written on Saturday, July 19th, 2008 at 3:42 pm by Mike

Let’s define a few blog concepts. When you first access the ASI-Brighton blog, you will see:

In the Left-hand Column (the “Sidebar”): Pages, Categories and Sites of Interest;

In the Right-hand Column: The latest Posts in chronological order.

Posts and Comments

A Post is like an article in the newspaper written by a columnist with a heading at the top along with the date and author. An ASI-Brighton Team Member wrote this article (Post). Everyone reading this blog wants to know what you, the reader, think about the Post.

You can always navigate back to the Latest Posts by clicking the All Posts link in the Category sidebar.

Pages, Categories and Sites of Interest

Pages normally present information that does not change over time.

Categories are used to classify Posts. When you click on a specific Category, only those Posts that were classified with that Category will be displayed.

Sites of Interest are other blogs and websites that the ASI-Brighton team believes are relevant to our affordable schools initiative. Take a moment to check them out. You may well be surprised at what you find!

That’s all of the instructions you need to get started. Read the Posts and make a comment (see the instructions on the Comment on a Post Page). Check out the other Pages and Sites of Interest.

ASI-Brighton hopes to you visit this blog site frequently!
